The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of all the activities we had planned, such as Line & Lariat restaurant, fitness center, and The Grove restaurant near the Convention Center. The room was spacious and the bathroom had a great shower with plenty of hot water. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a variety of fresh fruit. The hotel also had facilities like a lobby decorated beautifully and a shuttle service provided by the staff.

There were some issues with the bed, as mentioned in one of the reviews.

Its staff and facilities were great, and for us everything was excellent. Do recommend to anyone.

The hotel's prime location right by the Convention Center and in the center of all the activities we had planned made it incredibly convenient for us. Additionally, the staff was friendly, eager to help, and made us feel valued throughout our stay.

The atmosphere and service are great! You are right in downtown Houston! There are several fancy restaurants in walking distance.

Valet parking is pretty much mandatory and $28 per day, I was expecting this so it was not a big deal. There are few cheap restaurants in walking distance.

I had a wonderful stay at hotel Icon.....it far exceeded all my expectations and I would like to make a specific mention of Michael the waiter in the restaurant,,,he was superb !!

The location, closeness to eateries, music, and events was perfect. The comfort of the room, with a Keurig and refrigerator, was nice. Superb staff service. Impressive gym and spa.

If you park your car it's $28/night

Staff was extremely attentive, room was very clean, and decor was comfortable.

Valet parking - your only option - added $28 a night to the expense, which was unexpected. This is Houston, not NYC - that's too much. Also, the lighting in the bathroom was too dark - difficult to put on my contacts. I think a lady attempting to put on makeup would have been very frustrated. Not sure if all rooms are the same, but mine was too dark.

Incredible staff went above and beyond to make our event a success, from setting up decorations to ensuring everything flowed smoothly. Gilberto, Leo, and the event manager were exceptional. The hotel also surprised us with cake and champagne for our wedding night. a great stay with friendly staff and a fantastic location. I highly recommend this hotel.

The value for the money was great, and the room was lovely with excellent facilities. The hotel's location was convenient, and the staff treated us with friendliness and helpfulness throughout our stay.

Hotel breakfast could be improved by ensuring that there is always enough staff available for service, especially during peak hours.

Beautiful historic building with breathtaking chandeliers in the lobby. Excellent service from valet to check out. Convenient location near food, coffee shops, and a dog park. Quiet rooms with a vintage feel and great city views. Impressive gym with attached spa.

Our stay at Hotel Icon, Autograph Collection was exceptional. We were delighted by the historic charm of the hotel, from the elegant lobby to the beautifully designed rooms. The location was perfect, allowing us easy access to downtown Houston's attractions and the Museum District. The luxurious amenities, such as the spacious walk-in shower and total blackout curtains, made our stay even more comfortable. The friendly and informative check-in staff provided us with great recommendations for exploring the area. We also enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast buffet at Line & Lariat, which offered a variety of delicious options. our experience at Hotel Icon, Autograph Collection was fantastic and we highly recommend it.
